Critical to the success of this approach is including mechanisms to ensure that open textbooks produced with the Community are high quality, and meet the needs of all students who will one day use them. Rebus books undergo both peer review from faculty subject matter experts and beta testing in classrooms, where student and instructor feedback is collected.\n\nThis book has been peer reviewed by eighty-six subject experts. The full-text received an open review from the reviewers, based on their area of expertise.\n\nThe review was structured around considerations of the intended audience of the book, and examined the comprehensiveness, accuracy, and relevance of content, as well as longevity and cultural relevance. Further review by the lead authors and the three copyeditors focused on clarity, consistency, and grammatical errors. See the review guide<\/a> for more details. Changes suggested by the reviewers were incorporated by lead authors and editors.\n\nEditors Abbey K.
